Is My Career Hub free to use?

Yes! My Career Hub offers a generous free tier that includes tracking up to 50 active applications, email scanning for one connected account, and access to all core features. We also offer premium plans for power users who need unlimited tracking, multiple email accounts, and advanced analytics.

How does the email scanning work?

Once you connect your Gmail account via secure OAuth, our system periodically scans your inbox for job-related emails -- application confirmations, interview invitations, rejection notices, and offer letters. We use intelligent pattern matching to automatically detect and categorize these emails, then create or update application entries in your dashboard. Your email content is processed securely and never stored on our servers.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Security is our top priority. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your email credentials are handled through Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol -- we never see or store your password. All application data is stored in a secure, isolated database powered by Supabase with row-level security policies. We are committed to transparency and will never sell or share your personal data.

Can I connect multiple email accounts?

Yes! On our free plan you can connect one Gmail account. Premium users can connect multiple email accounts to scan across all of their inboxes simultaneously. This is especially useful if you have separate personal and professional email addresses that you use for job applications. Each connected account is managed independently in your Settings page.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page within the app. Navigate to Settings, scroll to the "Danger Zone" section, and click "Delete Account." This will permanently remove all of your data, including application records, connected email accounts, and personal information. This action cannot be undone, so please export any data you want to keep before proceeding.
